Milwaukee County Supervisor Thomas free on $5,000 bond
MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee County Supervisor Johnny Thomas is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bond on charges of accepting a bribe.
Thomas made his initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon after he was charged last week with taking a $500 bribe during a sting operation.
Earlier this week, Milwaukee County Board Chairman Lee Holloway stripped Thomas of his committee assignments; Thomas suspended his campaign for city comptroller.
Thomas will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on February 20th.
