MSOE offering free graduate degree to undergrads
MILWAUKEE- MSOE is offering free graduate degrees for undergrads who maintain excellent grades and start the program within a year.
It's a give away that's expected to attract some of the best students from around the world, right here to Milwaukee. A masters degree that costs nothing.
As Milwaukee School of Engineering student Matt Ostovsch hits the books, he has more than his next class on his mind.
"I've never heard of any other school that has had this program in place," said Ostovsch.
A $32,000 deal that sounds too good to be true.
The school announced this week it'll provide free graduate degrees. A deal expected to not only help students, but to boost the prestige level of MSOE.
School officials say the grant will cover nearly all the programs offered at the college; while tuition may not be going down, Ostovsch insists the deal is too good to pass up.
"It does cost a pretty penny but you get a great education out of it," said Ostovsch.
School officials say there's no limit on the number of free degrees, as long as students meet the criteria.
