Indoor marathoners compete at Pettit National Ice Center
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Runners from 21 states and the United Kingdom will be in Milwaukee for an indoor marathon in Milwaukee this weekend.
About 800 runners will be at the Pettit National Ice Center for events related to the 4th annual Icebreaker Indoor Marathon.
Among the events are a half-marathon and marathon relay on Saturday and a full 26.2 mile marathon on Sunday.
There are 40 runners competing in both the half marathon on Saturday and full marathon on Sunday. About 130 people are competing in the full on Sunday.
Runners will need to complete 95.4 laps for the marathon and 47.7 for the half marathon.
