Slippery, snow-covered roads in Waukesha County
WAUKESHA - As people were getting their day going in Waukesha County on Friday, they encountered slippery road conditions following Thursday's snowfall.
"They're a little deceiving. They appear to be wet, but they're very slippery. The side streets are pretty snow-covered," said Steve of Steve's Outdoor Services on TODAY'S TMJ4's Live at Daybreak.
"There were two spinouts on I-94 within a period of about three miles."
He explained that he had started a second full day of work without sleep.
"We got going real early with our routing and everything," said Steve.
"We hit the streets at about noon to start to keep our commercial properties open and clear, and then we moved into the residential, towards around the midnight hour when things started to wind down a little bit."
What's been keeping him going?
"Coffee and Mountain Dew."
