Impending snow means snowblowers instead of golf clubs outside
MENOMONEE FALLS - Even before snow began to fall Thursday morning, Milwaukee-area snowplow drivers were preparing streets and driveways for what was expected to come.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Melissa McCrady reported that snowplow drivers from Milwaukee to Menomonee Falls were working on salting streets and freeways.
People who work in businesses connected to snow were hoping for chances to make money off the snowfall.
Scott Lynch was hoping for a boom on Thursday, as he worked on some last minute snowblower repairs.
For him, this has been a slow season.
For those connecting to the golf business, unseasonably warm weather has brought a boom in business.
TODAY'S TMJ4 found 200 golfers enjoying unseasonably January weather.
"I've probably been out seven or eight times," said Brian Busch, who admitted he never thought that would happen in January.
