MILWAUKEE - You can help a local Olympian who will compete in the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London.
Waukesha South graduate Gwen Jorgensen is a triathlete. She will represent the United States in 2012.
A fundraiser has been scheduled for Thursday to cover her expenses in the effort to bring home a gold medal.
The event happens on Thursday night from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Derry Hegarty's Irish Pub on West Bluemound Road in Milwaukee.
The $25 cost covers beer, soda and snacks.
