Helping kids with cancer
MILWAUKEE- The Couture for a Cure Fashion show dazzles every year. This year Women for MACC raised more than $73,000 dollars. Meghan Lodes, President of Women for MACC notes, "You see the kids and impact were having on these families lives and you can't help but get involved."
John Cary, Executive Director of the MACC Fund adds, "Couture is one of the greatest things of the earth. Hyatt's great, Boston store's great! At the end of the day well raise thousands of dollars. Erin Hareng of Women for MACC helped organize the event. She says, "Being a part of the MACC fund means you can provide hope for kids going through something that most other kids don't have to go through."
Boston Store put on a fabulous show and the crowd even got a chance to bid on lunch with Packers Star Aaron Rogers.
Women for MACC has raised 4 million dollars for the MACC Fund over the past 28 years. Women for MACC has raised 4 million dollars over the past 28 years. Fulfilling a mission to help families and save kids lives. Organizers admit it's hard work but well worth it.
Crystal Chuckel of Women for MACC explains, "I'm a working mom but you make time for something you care about you just have to dig in and get it done." Volunteer Barb Knoebel concurs. "It's a tremendous amount of work. Planning starts the week after this event for next year. This is a huge day for us."
