Two dead in western Wisconsin crash
TREMPEALEAU, Wis. - The victims of a head-on crash Friday afternoon in Trempealeau County have been identified as 41-year-old Samuel A. Townsend of Onalaska and 39-year-old Timothy R. Valentine of La Crosse.
Townsend was alone in his vehicle and declared dead at the scene.
Two people were with passenger Valentine in the other vehicle
Both were injured.
They include the driver, 45-year-old Michael J. Price of Holmen, and 22-year-old passenger Stephan A. Schick of La Crosse.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but officials say it does not appear to be weather related.
