Hundreds play Bananagrams to stamp out childhood cancer
HARTLAND - Hundreds of people made an attempt at breaking a world record while fighting childhood cancer at the same time Saturday.
More than 500 people tried to set the world record for most people playing a word game by playing Bananagrams at Saturday's "I Back Jack" event in Hartland.
Jack Bartosz, 10, has cancer, so his parents started the foundation to fund clinical cancer trials here in Wisconsin.
"We're not just helping kids survive, we're helping them thrive," said Sarah Bartosz. "We're playing a great game for a fantastic cause."
