MADISON- Death threats made against Governor Walker on Facebook are being taken very seriously at the Captiol.

While the Governor will not comment about a possible threat, TODAY'S TMJ4 has been told he does have extra security.

On the Facebook page "Recall Walker Kick Off Rally," a woman with the screen name "Regan Cowan" wrote, "Rather than recall him...Can we kill him instead? Just curious."

"Dee Her" responded, "HA!!! He's signed a bill allowing conceal carry IN the Capitol...Someone just may get away with it!!!"

To which Cowan responded, "I'm game!"

The Department of Administration would not let Capitol Police Chief Tubbs go on-camera with TODAY'S TMJ4, but they released a statement saying they are investigating this incident and they have interviewed a couple people.

TODAY'S TMJ4 knocked at Cowan's Madison apartment door. As soon as she saw TODAY'S TMJ4's camera, she went back inside.

Capitol Police say this isn't the first threat against the Governor.  Many lawmakers received threats earlier this spring. The state Republican party calls it "sad."

Capitol Police have not made any arrests at this time.
