Scattered rain possible today, frost advisory Friday
MILWAUKEE - People in Southeastern Wisconsin should be discovering rain in parts of our area Thursday, and they may be discovering frost on their lawns and plants as they wake up Friday.
A frost advisory has been issued for Milwaukee, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties from 1:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. Friday.
Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele explains that clouds will diminish today, but not before pockets of rain fall.
"I'd risk it and leave the umbrella at home and not carry it around," said Steele.
"There may be some scattered showers that pop up from time to time, though we won't see widespread, long duration rain."
He forecasts a high of 50 on Thursday, but temperatures are expected to drop to near the freezing mark - 34 - Thursday night.
