Father of drunken driving victim to throw out first pitch
MILWAUKEE - With thousands watching, Mike Kilar will throw out the first pitch in Game 2 of the N.L. Championship Game.
Kilar told Wisconsin's Afternoon News with John Mercure that he will throw the ball to his son's favorite player, Prince Fielder.
It was a little more than a year ago when a drunken driver slammed his car into Mike and his family while they were driving home from a volleyball game in Walworth County.
Mike was seriously hurt, his 6-year-old son, Treyton, was killed.
At the funeral, Treyton was buried in his Prince Fielder jersey.
"It was truly his passion," Kilar said. "He loved it."
The Kilar family is also raising money for a baseball field to be built in Treyton's honor, click here if you would like to help donate
