Business owners are celebrating the Brewers post season
MILWAUKEE- Business owners around Milwaukee are celebrating the Brewers post season as well.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Shelley Walcott reports that plenty of baseball themed t-shirts at Brew City Brand Apparel in the Third Ward. Owner Frank Keppler says the playoffs have been great for business.
"Going all the way for our business it's awesome. I think it's much bigger and greater for the city of Milwaukee and we like promoting Milwaukee in any way possible," said Keppler.
Keppler's working on shirts like "Ron's recking crew" and one that says "take me out to the ballgame," but he says it's more about fun and being part of something than profit.
Closer to Miller Park, Matt Skalnik is hoping his brand new restaurant will get a boost from baseball.
"I've never been a bigger brewers fan in my life and hopefully we go all the way because it certainly helps us out," said Skalnik of his restaurant Frankie's Sammiches.
And one place that's definitley seeming a boom from this years post season, is the pro shop at Miller Park.
It's been packed with customers since the doors opened at 8 o'clock Thursday, and business owners around town hoping the playoffs knock profits out of the ballpark.
