'Incredible' party surrounded Green Bay win

GREEN BAY - It was rock stars, rowdy fans, media as far as the eye can see.
And that didn't include an incredible Packers win on the field.
Such was the scene at Lambeau Field on the NFL's opening night, and a lot of people behind the scenes made it a huge success.
It was lights, cameras and Packers pride surrounding Green Bay's 42-34 win over the Saints Thursday night.
"There's a ton more people than we ever thought would be here. I came from Milwaukee, drove up this morning and it's been incredible," said Tom Padron.
There's an incredible production effort that goes into a nationally televised game.
The network trucks beamed their signals to the entire world, with our own Chopper 4 with Power Zoom serving as the eye in the sky.
On stage just north of Lambeau Field, it was more like the Grammy Awards than Green Bay.
Maroon 5, Lady Antebellum and Kid Rock all performed for an estimated 50,000 fans.
It took plenty of staff and security to protect the stage and performers from the massive crowd.
"This is awesome," said an excited Tony Swett. "I've seen it on TV before, but i never thought it would be in Green Bay, Never."
"I think it's been really fun. It's been worth the wait," exclaimed Megan Parson.
The real show came during the game, on the field, in the stands, and up in the air where F-16's flew before the game.
"We're the Super Bowl champs. Bring us the hype. We like that," Steve Saunders told us.
"It's fantastic that a small venue like Green Bay is getting this exposure, and I think it's awesome for the NFL and it's awesome for Green Bay," said Chad Hietpas.
