New Health Insurance Consumers Bill of Rights to be unveiled Wednesday
MADISON- Wednesday afternoon at the state capitol, a Milwaukee State Representative will unveil his new bill calling for a patients' bill of rights.
State Representative Jon Richards says under his plan, Wisconsin families would never be denied insurance due to a pre-existing condition or lose their coverage when someone gets sick.
According to WisBusiness, the bill also guarantees choice of primary care providers, full emergency care coverage in and out of network, limits on rate surcharges based on age, and readable insurance policies that are clear to the average person.
The introduction of Wisconsin Health Insurance Consumers Bill of Rights will be held at the Assembly Parlor, State Capitol on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
