MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are trying to figure out how a man got shot in the thigh early Tuesday morning.
The man turned up at St. Joseph's Hospital near the corner of North 51st and Wet Chambers Streets in Milwaukee, asking for help.
When police got on scene, the man claimed he had been shot on West Fond du Lac Avenue, just south of West Hampton Avenue.
Officers say they are investigating, and there was no word early Tuesday morning on a motive.
