Teenage suspects due in court in case involving murder of pregnant mother

MILWAUKEE - Two of the three teenage suspects in the murder of a pregnant mother of seven children were due back in court Friday afternoon.
Malik Merchant and Mikal Thomas were set to appear in juvenile court for a preliminary hearing.
They have been charged with shooting Sharon Staples to death in front of her teenage son earlier this month.
The teenagers have been charged as adults.
The third suspect, Jimmy Scales, has been set to head to court next week.
Police said Scales drove the getaway vehicle.
