Alfalfa plant catches fire
HILBERT, Wis - Fire in the Appleton area took six hours to finally get under control.
Firefighters from 15 volunteer departments across Calumet County helped out at the Fox Valley Alfalfa Mill in Hilbert.
The blaze burned up about 75-hundred bales of hay.
There are no reports of injuries.
Hilbert firefighter Amy Suha tells the Post-Crescent of Appleton it can be tough to coordinate 15 different fire departments at a single scene, but she's proud of how well everyone worked together under pressure.
