Nine area high schools make Newsweek top 500 public h.s. list
MILWAUKEE - Nine high schools in the Milwaukee metropolitan area have made the list of Newsweek's "America's Best High Schools."
It's a listing of the top public high schools in America.
Brookfield Central High School ranked best among Wisconsin schools at 174th.
Mequon Homestead followed in 205th, with Cedarburg (258), New Berlin West (325), Wauwatosa East (379), New Berlin Eisenhower (414), Pewaukee (435) and Waukesha West (491) rounding out the top 500 from Wisconsin.
