Google creates online 'guitar' to honor Les Paul
MILWAUKEE - Google is paying a tribute to the late "Wizard of Waukesha" on his 96th birthday by letting you "strum" his invention online.
Les Paul, the inventor of the electric guitar and a major innovator of modern rock music, was born on June 9, 1915.
People using the online search service can play the tribute "guitar" on Google's front page by clicking, dragging and "strumming" on the guitar strings above the search function.
