Train, Forklift Crash in Wauwatosa
WAUWATOSA - A forklift operator survived a collision with a Canadian Pacific freight train this morning in Wauwatosa.
A police officer on the scene said the worker got trapped between the crossing arms as the train approached the intersection of 70th & State.
The man spoke with investigators at the collision site. He turned down ambulance transport to a hospital, though he told police he had neck and back pain.
A crash investigator is working to determine who, if anyone, should be cited.
