MILWAUKEE - There are three big challenges if you want to attend the Super Bowl in Dallas; tickets, airfare and hotel.
Face value on upper level, end zone seats is $800, but few have access to that price.
Ticket King's John Lamoreaux said the phones have been ringing, but many are stunned when they find out the going rate from brokers.
"It's not the working man's game," Lamoreaux told TODAY'S TMJ4 reporter Tom Murray. "We're quoting $2,750 for an end zone seat, that's an upper level ticket. Up $9,400 for something between the 30s in the lower level."
"Our roundtrip, air only packages start at $999.99 a person, which sounds crazy to go to Dallas, but it's a great value out there right now," said Funjet's Gina Esch.
A Travelocity search Monday revealed a few Dallas-area hotels with rooms still available.
"There will be limited availability during this event. as well as no cancellations or changes," a posting on Travelocity reads. "During this time most hotel properties are requiring a 4-night minimum stay, non-refundable and non-transferrable."
A three-star LaQuinta in Arlington, the same city as the stadium, had rooms for $512 a night. Farther away, a Doubletree in Richardson has rooms listed for about $299 per night.
