CHICAGO - It looked like Lambeau South as Packers fans poured out of Soldier Field to chants of “Go Pack Go!”
“Halas trophy at Soldier Field, this is what Packer football is all about!,” shouted one fan.
“Chicago. Eat your heart out,” screamed another.
The fans who were lucky enough to be there say it was electric inside stadium. They were outnumbered, but they held their own.
“What was the atmosphere like in there,” TODAYS TMJ4 Reporter Lauren Leamanczyk asked two young women from Madison. “Kind of hatred. People threw things at us. But we put on a brave face and we overcame it,” they said.
Dan and Ken from Sheboygan have been Packers fans since birth. Both said it was the biggest game they’ve ever attended.
The best part? Dan says “Winning.” Ken said, “Raji’s interception. Right in front of us. It was awesome!”
Steve Katz is a super bowl veteran. He’s already making plans for Dallas.
“We’re walking. If we hit it now, we’ll be there in time,” he joked.
