CHICAGO - The Herschede Brothers, Packers season ticket holders and big time fans, nearly missed the NFC Championship game.

At the last minute they drove to Chicago, booked a hotel and hoped they'd find affordable tickets.

"It's called running on faith," said August Herschede.

They took a chance on a Craigs List ad that they worried was a scam.  It wasn't.  The brothers got into Soldier Field to cheer on the Packers.

Karl Herschede was decked out in his lucky A.J. Hawk jersey.  He assured us, part of the tradition is that he does not wash it.

"You go to the game. You win the game. So why are you going to disrupt it and wash the jersey?," he asked.

They were there to celebrate as the Packers defeated the Bears.  And as they left they were already planning their next big Packers trip.

"Alright, Dallas here we go!," shouted Karl as the brothers left.
