MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Voters in Milwaukee have decided to return U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore to Congress.

Moore easily won re-election in the 4th Congressional District representing Wisconsin's largest city. The 59-year-old Democrat was first elected in 2004.

She defeated Republican Dan Sebring, a 53-year-old auto repair business owner, and Independent Eddie Ayyash in Tuesday's election. With 56 percent of precincts reporting, Moore had 66 percent of the vote.

Moore is Wisconsin's first black official elected to Congress. She serves on the House budget committee and committee on financial services and is vice chair of the Congressional Women's Caucus.
