Man Charged with Hate Crime Shooting
MILWAUKEE - A man from Milwaukee faces charges, including a hate crime enhancer, for shooting a bb gun at a woman earlier this summer.
The criminal complaint says Robert Malczewski fired an air rifle from his bedroom window at a woman outside a Walgreen's on National Ave.
The woman, who is Hispanc, was hit in the neck. She is recovering.
Malczewski told police he began firing at possums but later began shooting at "Mexicans."
