MILWAUKEE -- Rockwell Automation is hoping to show they are not only leaders in smart technology.

They will be the first company in Wisconsin to have a mobile tour called "Check Your Blind Spots" make a stop at their workplace.

The tour that is only available for their employees Tuesday, will highlight the unconscious biases people have, and may not even catch, in the workplace.

Rockwell Automation plans to support their roughly 3,000 employees in Wisconsin to confront difficult conversations about diversity and inclusion.

Michele Matthai, the company's director of culture and inclusion believes it will make their employees perform even better.

"Bias isn't anything to be ashamed of," explained Matthai, "It's about really understanding it and understanding how it can come into play with our decision making and about having a conversation about it."

Rockwell Automation employs 22,000 people globally.
