Bomb Squad called to East side
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department was called to a bomb threat late Saturday afternoon on Knapp St. near Astor St.
A man told police that he dropped a package into a mail box and indicated that it was a bomb. The mail box was located outside of a residential apartment building. The Milwaukee Fire Department arrived to assist with opening it.
The package was then taken into a van and determined not to be suspicious.
