Lightning strike causes fire, power outage
Wild overnight weather led to a fire in Greenfield and power outage in Hales Corners Tuesday morning. We Energies crews restored power to a strip mall after lightning struck a power line at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday near South 105th Street and West Edgerton Avenue. Firefighters quickly put out the fire sparked by the downed line. About 1,500 customers lost power. Scroll through the photos for more images from the fire scene (courtesy TODAY'S TMJ4).
