Cars, motorcycles speed down Howard Avenue
MILWAUKEE- Some streets have bigger speeding problems than most.
Ron Kozlosky has a front row seat to Milwaukee's south side speedway.
A drag strip for people on four wheels -- or two. "Well, the cars, you can watch them. They go 5 to 10 over. But the motorcycles are the worst," said Kozlosky.
The street in question is Howard Avenue.
Speedbusters got a couple tips about problem cars and motorcycles in this neighborhood. One from 43rd and Howard -- the other near 52nd and Howard.
Ron Kozlosky was right as Speedbusters set up with the speed gun on the western edge of that stretch. The speed limit there is 30 miles per hour and Speedbusters caught drivers going over 43 mph. The road is four lanes across -- with a wide median. The perfect invitation to push the pedal down.
Ron Kozlosky wishes more people had the maturity to just slow it down.
