Residents requesting cars slow down along Wisconsin Avenue in Brookfield
BROOKFIELD- Speedbusters went to Brookfield this week after speeding complaints came in.

Mary Jo Noble and her poodles enjoy a good stroll through the neighborhood. A stroll that's become dangerous because of speeders on Wisconsin Avenue. "Normally, it's a 25 mile per hour speed limit, but people just zip by," said Noble.
The stretch of Wisconsin Avenue just north of Bluemound Road is not one you would expect to be busy. It runs past apartment complexes and condos, but drivers like to use it as a shortcut.
So Speedbusters hauled out the radar gun -- and set up shop just down the block.
The limit there -- is 25 and as Mary Jo warned Speedbusters -- that limit is often ignored.
Speeders make Mary Jo afraid to cross the street with her dogs some days, as one speeder came dangerously close to hitting her. "He finally did stop, but i was screaming at him," said Mary Jo Noble. Instead of screaming at everyone -- Mary Jo just wishes all those speedy drivers would just slow it down.
