They're called 'Cougars', and we're not talking about wild animals. We're talking about women in their prime...playing the field, and dating younger men. It's a growing dating trend right here in Milwaukee.

The ladies of 'Sex and the City' make it look fun and sexy. Demi and Ashton show it can last.

Matt Ebben is a twenty-something who goes out to bars in Milwaukee. He says, "People are getting more and more open to that stuff these days. Not as much is taboo these days."

We found...Cougar hunting IS alive and well in Milwaukee. Take 45-year-old Anjl Rodee and 50-year-old Marilyn Mee. These vivacious women don't think age should limit who women date.

Courtny Gerrish: "You've always dated younger men?"

Marilyn: "Never by design, that's just how it happens...I don't understand why they should have to date guys who are in a particular age group if they're attracted to a younger guy, and a younger guy is attracted to them."

Anjl is divorced with 2 older kids, and dates a guy 8 years her junior. Marilyn was in a long-term relationship with someone 15 years younger! They think the age gap actually makes for a stronger relationship.

"I think 50 years ago, women used to be looking for a provider, because that wasn't the role women traditionally had. Now that they are providers, they're not only looking for someone to provide for them...they want someone who fits their interests," Anjl explains.

It didn't take long for a younger man to find Anjl and Marilyn at the bar.

The young guy even said to Marilyn, "I'm attracted to you. I don't even know if you're married or not!"

The best spot in Milwaukee is widely regarded as Victor's on Van Buren.

Night manager Vic Jones says, "You'll see older women, sometimes divorced, coming in and letting their hair down a bit."

We checked it out on a Friday night. Matt Ebben admits he has seen some 'wild' cougars on the prowl before.

"Anything from just the mild, older woman out having a drink and talking to younger guys, to groups of older women going crazy with skimpy clothes and over-the-top alcohol consumption," Ebben says.

Anjl and Marilyn admit some cougars convey that over-sexed image, like what we see on 'Sex and the City', but not all cougars are just out for a wild night.

"Maturity I think is a big thing, a level head on their shoulders. I think confidence is a huge thing that younger girls just don't bring to the table," Anjl says.

"Can it be a lasting relationship? Well...we're both proof of that," Marilyn points out.
