JANESVILLE - To live happily ever after, and win a million dollars? An online program promises to reward couples who stay married.

Like any 1-year-old, Colby Williams has a lot of toys, and a lot of other needs. Things like diapers, bottles and clothes. All things Colby's parents can buy online.

"Mostly it's fun to buy stuff, and then I don't feel so bad," Allison Williams said.

All that spending can lead to some big rewards. The Williams family joined "uTANGO," a unique online program that gives money to couples who stay married.

"If you kind of think of it, there's really nothing to actually reward people for staying together," Aaron Williams said.

Here's how it works: spend money through the program's 300 merchants and earn Tango points. When couples reach certain marriage milestones, the cash rolls in.

If you stay married 10 years, you can get up to $10,000. On your 20th anniversary the pay out is up to $100,000, and if you sign up for uTANGO's most expensive spending plan, year 30 brings couples $1,000,000!

Allison likes the principal behind uTANGO.

"That there was a reward for staying together. That somebody actually like valued monogamy," Allison Williams said.

Jim Miller started the uTANGO concept seven years ago. His inspiration came from family.

"I was looking at my in-laws and thinking to myself, there's a man and a woman who've been married 35 years, raised four kids, put them all through school. That should be rewarded," Miller said.

As the Williams approach their third wedding anniversary, there are rewards for loyalty as customers....and as husband and wife.

uTANGO is also open to singles and engaged couples. One caveat for everyone out there saying "great idea," to sign up for the big payouts: you can't be more than three years into your marriage.
