MILWAUKEE- The Paranormal Investigators of Milwaukee investigate claims of paranormal activity in private homes and businesses across the Milwaukee area. TODAY'S TMJ4 gets an inside look at their investigation of The Riverside Theater in downtown Milwaukee, where paranormal activity has been reported in the past.

Susan Scot Fry is the owner of the Caper Company, which runs haunted tours across Milwaukee. She told us a couple stories, "Some of the stories are about the phantom theater-goer, always in the same seat, wearing some sort of period clothing -- that's just a classic story. The story of the footsteps here on the stage -- the actor still trotting the boards."

Nothing out of the ordinary onstage -- so the investigators head to the basement, where they get some abnormal eletro-magnetic field readings.

So lead investigator Noah Leigh and his team move on to the lower bar area, and set up for an EVP Session with the spirits.

"We'll start off by saying we're not here to hurt you or make you leave. We're just here to try and communicate with you," Noah says to the spirits.

"Is there anything that you would like us to tell somebody for you?" investigator Missy asks.

Finally, the investigators head upstairs to the light booth, high above the stage.

"It's believed there is a spirit that will turn on the lights after the people have left and returned all the way down to the stage," Noah explains.

Just when things seem calm --s igns of life on the "other" side.

Investigator "Gravy" says, "My hairs kinda moved," Noah replies, "Your hair's moving on your hand?" Gravy confirms, "Felt like something kind of brushed across my hand."

Noah investigates, saying "I don't see any cold spots, you still feeling it?"

Gravy replies, "No, when I was holding my camera, just felt like a little soft brush across my hand. Just once."

It's not much, but it's something!  Noah admits that's par for the course during paranormal investigations. "If you do get something that's like an eagle. That's a hole-in-one, because you really don't get things a lot of the time."
