CHICAGO- On Monday night, the NBC hit show "The Voice" began it's third season.

Among the thousands trying not only to be heard, but recognized is 17-year-old Felix Ramsey.

Ramsey is a student at MPS' Milwaukee High School of the Arts, and he's trying to make it big.

"I hope they like what I bring to the table and I hope that they pick me not only because I have a good voice but because they see something else inside me," said Ramsey to TODAY'S TMJ4.

Felix's life is already full of accomplishments: Last year, he was invited to perform with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the San Diego Symphony Orchestra; he was also invited to Hollywood to compete for a spot as a finalist on the last season's American Idol.

17-year-old Felix held in his hands a red sheet of paper following his audition on "The Voice."  A piece of paper thousands wanted but few achieved: A call back.

Unfortunately Felix didn't make it through the next round of auditions.
