TWO RIVERS - A visitation and funeral are this weekend for a man known as "Bucket List Guy" who moved thousands with his fight against leukemia and his vibrancy for life in the face of his disease.

Eric McLean's visitation and funeral have been scheduled for St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers.

The visitation will be spread over two days, Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 p.m.

The funeral will then happen Saturday at the church at 11:00 a.m.

McLean battled myelogenous leukemia for nine years.  In that time, amidst stem cell transplants, radiation and chemotherapy, he began accomplishing a list of things he wanted to do while he was still alive, hence the "Bucket List Guy" nickname.

He passed away on August 23.  Before his death, he recorded a special message for those who had followed his life story.

His wife Cari, his parents and three siblings are among those who survived Eric.

McLean asked that people make blood donations or help the bone marrow registry by clicking here  instead of flowers.  Another web site devoted to his efforts continues at givetolife.org
