Watch: Flight of Honor Special

  • Print

In early May, 300 veterans from southeast Wisconsin got the chance to go see the World War II Memorial in Washington.  The trip was funded by a group called Stars and Stripes Honor Flights.  The group raises money to send the vets to the memorial before it's too late.  Newsradio 620 WTMJ partnered with the group to raise more than $250,000 to charter a 747 to take the vets.

This Memorial Day, TODAY'S TMJ4 HD profiled the trip in an hour long special.

If you missed the program live, you can watch it by clicking the video link to your left.
