Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. Now is the perfect time to start thinking about what activities to line up for your kids this summer.

YMCA resident camps are the perfect solution.

According to the American Camp Association, more than 11 million children and adults attend came each year. With an increase in childhood obesity and overweight children, camps provide great fitness and exercise for kids, all while having lots of fun.

YMCA camps begin June 22 and go through August 16, 2008. The YMCA is now accepting registration for summer camps.

There are two resident camp locations: Camp Minikani in Hubertus and Camp Matawa in Campbellsport.

All YMCA camps are licensed through the State of Wisconsin and accredited by the American Camping Association.
