Today's recipes for Saturday Morning Brunch come from the Golden Gate Restaurant and chef Paul Moy.
BEEF AND BROCCOLI
Ingredients
1/2 pound sliced beef
1/2 pound sliced broccoli
1/4 sliced onion
1/4 sliced carrot
2 teaspoon vegetable oil 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon chop garlic
1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil 1/4 teaspoon rice cooking wine
1/4 teaspoon molasses 1/2 teaspoon oyster sauce
2 cup chicken broth 2 teaspoons corn starch mixed with 4 teaspoons water
Directions
Heat up wok, add oil, salt and garlic, then add beef. Stir fried till 1/4 cooked, then add broccoli. Cook until 1/2 cooked, then add chicken broth. Bring to boil, add molasses, cooking wine, sugar, oyster sauce and sesame oil when boiling again, add corn starch mix to thicken.
CANTONESE CHICKEN LO MEIN
Ingredients
2 cups of “Steamed Cantonese Noodles” (available at most asian grocery stores)
1/2 pound sliced chicken breast
1/4 cup water chestnuts 1/4 cup mushrooms
2 cup bean sprouts 1/2 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup snow peapods 1/4 cup sliced bok choy leaves
2 teaspoon vegetable oil 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon chop garlic
1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil 1/4 teaspoon rice cooking wine
1 1/2 cup chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon oyster sauce
2 teaspoons corn starch mixed with 4 teaspoons water
Preparing the Noodles
In a cooking pan heat up some water to a boil, place noodles in a strainer and put in boiling water for 2 seconds and loosen up noodles. Heat up wok with 1 teaspoon oil until hot, put in noodles and cook on one side until light brown. Flip over the noodles and cook to light brown and put aside. Heat up wok again, add 2 teaspoon oil, add chicken, salt, garlic then stir fried until half cooked. Put in cooking wine, put in all vegetables stir for a few seconds, then pour in chicken broth and oyster sauce. Bring to boil, pour in corn starch mix to thicken, then pour in sesame oil, stir and put noodles into wok and mix.

Ingredients
1 shot Rum
3/4 shot Bols Peach Schnapps
Dash of Grenadine
1 cup Fruit Juice
Directions
In a mixer, start with 1 scoop of ice, pour in rum, peach schnapps, grenadine and fruit juice and mix.
