Mother's Memories of Her Daughter are Positively Milwaukee
WAUKESHA - Twenty six-year-old Andrea Morgan left this earth too soon.
In her Waukesha home, Gloria Morgan shares precious pictures of her only daughter.
She tells TMJ4's Carole Meekins, "She loved kids, childcare, doing hair..that runs in the family."
It's a tough time for Gloria. Her daughter was the first swine flu casualty in the Milwaukee area this year.
The soft spoken mother sadly notes, "She was my whole world. Andrea was..It's very hard. I struggle every day."
Andrea died June 3 2009.
Gloria admits getting out of bed every day is tough. She says, "Actually I felt I died when Andrea died, the only thing keeping me alive is the spirit of God."
Gloria smiles as she remembers that her only daughter was devoted to church even as a child. Gloria believes it was a calling from God.
If there's a lesson for all her pain, Gloria does not know it yet. But she goes on and survives on memories.
Gloria smiles as she recalls her child. "She always thought the world of me too. She thought I was the world's most sweetest mom because I was always there for her."
Andrea was known for her soft heart, giving spirit, and beautiful smile.
She was described by friends, as a radiant young lady, who despite a short life, made an impression that will last a lifetime.
And Gloria Morgan says if she could see her only child one last time, she would repeat the words she said so many times in the past. "I love you, I love you."
