Time Warner Cable's Children's Fest
The Time Warner Cable's Children's Fest was a huge hit with the young and old.
We found plenty of kids enjoying the sights and sounds. Some sported balloons, face paint, and even colored hair.
Of course, one of the most popular attractions was the food.
Some kids got around easy riding in strollers but others were on foot, holding the hands of mom and dad.
And in these tough economic times, many parents say the free admission means the price is right. Jill Ochoa of Bay View says, "It's really neat in this economy to be able to have free entertainment for the kids. I like being able to take the kids to see all the different things of the world."
Jill is currently hosting and exchange student from France in her home. Raphaelle Dendre was excited to take in a new country. Dendre notes, "There's a lot of things to do and while it's different from Europe there's a lot of music and I think that's cool.
From a young man sporting a Mohawk, to the children with spray painted hair, Children's Fest proves year after year, that for affordable family fun, it's a perfect place to go.
