MILWAUKEE -

Lisa and Alan Goodman enjoy spending time with their two children. The The Goodman's decided to adopt when they realized what mattered most to them was not about conceiving children but about being parents.

Their two kids were first in foster care. Both say it made their family complete. Alan Goodman shares, " When I come in the house ties running daddy, daddy, that's great I love that."

The couple also feels blessed they connected with the Children's Service Society of Wisconsin to add to their family. CSS is trying to find 185 new foster families by the end of the year."

Arles Lawrence is the recruitment program supervisor for CSS. She notes, "Right now there's a great need for foster families. Every month we come across at least 125-150 children who need a home."

Foster Parents must be able to pay bills without the childcare stipend. They do not have to be married, but must pass a background check.

But most importantly future parents must be like the Goodman's committed to nurturing a healthy and happy child. As Lisa Goodman puts it, it's "All about the love you have to give."
