Carole's Hometown Heroes: Homecoming
It was a giant welcome home for troops. The Detachment Bulk Fuel Company Bravo returned home October 27th. They were part of the 30 thousand troop surge in Afghanistan back in January. The group had been overseas for almost a year. They got a hearty welcome when they arrived in waves at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center in Green Bay. At the ceremony, there were plenty of smiles and hugs, Lisa Mansfield of USO Wisconsin shared pictures with Today's TMJ4. The mother of two went greeted the heroes and served refreshments. She calls her job and honor. It's her way of giving back as her husband serves in Iraq. This homecoming celebration not only helped mark the safe return of our heroes, it was a poignant reminder of the continual sacrifices that keep us all free.
