MPD said they never conducted drug test in man claiming beating over gum
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn said a drug test was never requested in the case of Jordon Cain. Cain is the teenager who claimed he was badly bruised after officers thought the gum in his mouth was drugs.
Police say Cain ingested drugs and that’s what prompted the forcible take down back in January at 35th and Townsend.
Just last week MPD told us they were waiting on drug test results, but Chief Flynn said they did not conduct a test.
An internal investigation is underway to determine if the officers used excessive force.
