Blue Ribbon Award
Courtny Gerrish
MILWAUKEE - It's clean dining this week -- two restaurants that are doing things right get the Blue Ribbon Award.
It's "nacho usual food" at Senor Speedy on 35th and National. Owner and chef Jorge Rodriguez has been open for business three years now.
Senor Speedy had a clean health inspection and was nominated for this Blue Ribbon Award by a neighbor.
Chef Jorge Rodriguez told us, "Oh that's great. They love to come over here and eat. You know we try to keep it as cleans as we can, you know we take great pride in what we do. Our food, our customers are most important."
Spring Gardens at 17th and Layton where delicious desserts and clean dining are on the menu.
The manager says, "I really appreciate you stopping by. It's a lot of hard work, but we try to keep everything as you know, going as you can."
If you have a restaurant that you'd like to recommend for a Blue Ribbon Award we'd love to hear from you.
