Dirty DiningDirty Dining: O'Brady'sBy Courtny GerrishMILWAUKEE - This week we pay a visit to a pub and grill in the city that was keeping food in shoeboxes. O'Brady's on North Water Street. There were no gloves for employees that handle customer's food. This place was also preparing food in a room that's not up to code, and the inspector noted the carpet in that room is sticky and needs to be replaced. There were no expiration dates on prepared food. The shelf life is seven days. Also, pre wrapped sandwiches were stored in plastic shoe boxes with soiled lids. Grill utensils used on potentially hazardous food were not being washed and sanitized throughout the day. That's a cross contamination risk. Inspectors also found moldy soda holsters at O'Brady's. We left a message for the owner about these violations but never got a call back. |
