MILWAUKEE - Some local pizza places are serving up tasty pies and sporting a clean health inspection.

Riverfront Pizzeria Bar and Grill on Erie Street near downtown has been open just two years. At this restaurant, creating the perfect slice of pie is important. So is keeping a clean kitchen.

With a spotless inspection two years in a row, Riverfront Pizzeria gets our first Blue Ribbon Award.

"It's very appreciated. I mean, it's a lot of hard work for it, but I'm glad that you guys recognize that," Riverfront's Head Chef Andrew Stiyer said.

It’s the same story over at Arturo's Pizzeria on 78th and Appleton. Ryan Ipsa took over ownership when he was just 19. He's a stickler for a clean kitchen.

"I mean, it shows the customers that we're clean and makes them want to come back more,” Ipsa said.

Customers can see the entire kitchen in this place. With two good inspections in a row, the second Blue Ribbon Award goes to Arturo's.
