WAUKESHA COUNTY - Who's getting good grades in the kitchen? Two Waukesha County restaurants are doing things right.

Everybody loves fondue! That's what "The Melting Pot" on Bluemound Road in Brookfield is serving up. This popular restaurant has a good history with the health department.

"We had 100 percent back about three years ago," Owner Matt Soik said.

Soik and his wife Ruby are proud of their clean record and customers notice.

"We get comments from our customers all the time too. Just regular dining and even restrooms are very, very important," Ruby Soik said.

So "The Melting Pot" gets this week's first Blue Ribbon Award.

On to Kranky's Pub & Grill on Glacier Road in Pewaukee: a limited menu, but a favorite hangout for some.

"Everything's always kept clean here and never any complaints," the manager said.

Kranky's gets our second Blue Ribbon Award.
