MILWAUKEE - They cook the food right at your table.
Benihana in downtown Milwaukee - where 'the show' comes with your meal. This place handles a lot of food.
"We have big menu. We deal with steaks, seafood, sushi. So we have to keep everything clean," Manager Nizar Alkhatib said.
Health inspectors found a clean kitchen at Benihana so this week they get our first Blue Ribbon Award.
"City Lunch" is open when its name says, for lunch. This cozy spot is hidden away in the Tannery complex near 7th and Virginia. John Regner and his wife opened for business four years ago.
"I come in every morning at 5:30 and make fresh soups and salads, and then she comes in at 10:30 and runs the register," John Regner said.
They serve 200 people a day, five days a week. The idea behind City Lunch is to "come in grab something hot and fresh in the wintertime," says Regner. "In the summer we switch over primarily to salads and allow people to get in and out in two or three minutes."
City Lunch gets our second Blue Ribbon Award.
