BAY VIEW- A Bay View spot open 24/7 for your dining pleasure or you can head into the "Wok Zone" for clean dining.  Both restaurants are keeping things spotless in the kitchen.

"Midwest Diner" on KK and Lincoln: A burger and fries or a full breakfast spread, served up 24 hours a day.  Long time employee Madeline Henschel told Dirty Dining they also have great specials.  She says cleaning is tough because of the round the clock schedule.

"Throughout the day, you gotta keep running to keep up with the Jones'."

Henschel also points out the boss, owner John Kardaris, is a stickler for keeping things clean. "This is my life," he told us. "They know what I expect from them and they do it. You have to."

Kardaris walked us through the stock room and kitchen. It's all clean says the health department, and because of that "Midwest Diner" gets our first Blue Ribbon Award.

Over on the east side, "Wok Zone" has been serving up Chinese "to go" at the corner of Brady and Van Buren for a year now.

It's latest health inspection was all clean so they get our second Blue Ribbon Award.
